Practice Success: Planning for 2023
As 2022 comes to a close, it’s time to plan for 2023. Whether you’re leading a team that you’ve been in practice with for years, are new to a practice, already have a great team or are struggling to fill positions, transitioning to a new year is a critical time. Correct initial actions now will increase your patients’ and your team’s well-being, creating momentum for a strong new year.
Along with your master plan, here are three critical skills to get your practice ready for success in 2023.
Mindset – Oh, those voices constantly rattling around in your head. There’s the one that demeans your decisions and tears at your self-confidence. And there’s the one that cheers you on. Either way, those inner voices — your self-talk and mindset — powerfully set the course for each day. Make sure they’re positive!
Boundaries – Boundaries include two essential elements: what you create and what you allow. They’re the limits people set — physically and emotionally — to create order, safety and a healthy sense of personal space. Ultimately, they put you in charge of your life and help to ensure that your relationships are healthy. Do you need new boundaries of any kind for 2023?
Visual Presence – When you’re looking for that next great strategy to increase your productivity and success, look at yourself/your team and how you dress and groom. It’s called “image management.” It’s the ongoing process of evaluating and controlling the effect of your appearance and the resulting response in you and others. What, if anything, needs to change?
Mastering these critical skills in the first few months of the year will help you lead your team toward success. Don’t have a plan? We can help.
